Notice of Hotel Name Change

Effective March 1, 2023, the hotel name has been changed from "Umi Kaoru Yado Hotel New Matsumi" to "Umino Hotel Hajime".
We have been "Hotel New Matsumi" for many years, but with the completion of the recent construction of guest rooms and the 7th floor Asahi no Yu (large bath, open-air bath, sauna), we have decided to change the name to welcome our guests with a new spirit.
We will make a concerted effort to provide services that will satisfy our customers even more than before. We look forward to your continued patronage in the future.

Chairs, tables, and partitions in the 2nd floor dining area have been replaced with antiviral-resistant ones.

In order to provide our guests with a safer dining experience, we have replaced the chairs and tables in the dining room on the 2nd floor with anti-virus countermeasure chairs and tables.

The "Atarashii Oita Tabiwari ( New Oita Travel )Vol. 2 (Nationwide Travel Support)" will be implemented from January 10, 2023 (Tuesday)!

Period of implementation　:Tuesday, January 10, 2023 - Friday, March 31, 2023 [until check-out on Saturday, April 1].
Terms of Use :Three doses of the new corona vaccine or negative proof of the vaccine test package is required.
The program is open to residents of Japan, and is also available to foreign nationals (with a resident card).

Construction of guest rooms, 7F large bath, open-air bath and sauna has been completed.

We have completed a large-scale renovation (Japanese-style rooms on the ocean side, large bathroom on the 7th floor, open-air bath, and sauna). The Japanese-style room on the sea side has been renewed as a Japanese-style twin bed room with a bath with a view, and the large bathroom on the 7th floor has been renewed as "Asahi no Yu" with a new open-air bath with a view and a sauna with a view, which is the only one of its kind in Oita. We will continue to make every effort to create a more relaxing stay for our guests.

The period for national travel support has been extended.

The National Travel Assistance was originally scheduled to run from October 11 through December 20 overnight, but has been extended through December 27. It will also be implemented again in 2023.
